Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Gratitude is the Christian response to God. It is the primary motivator for the life of a Christian. It is the flavor, the aroma, the glow that pervades the way we can live each day. But gratitude is not just something one feels; gratitude must be practiced. The more we practice gratitude, the more we experience it in our hearts. And the more we feel it inside, the more we express it in the way we live. So during 2019, the folks of St. Luke’s will be practicing gratitude throughout the year.

Are you ready to take the 365 challenge?

One of the ways we will practice gratitude in 2019 is  writing 365 thank you notes or other expressions of gratitude, one each day, offered for what someone has done or who they are. These expressions should be beyond expected common courtesy.

Get started, or re-started by clicking on one of these E-cards and sharing with someone who has made a difference in your life.

Look for St. Luke’s mailbox and writing tables along Fellowship Walk!

On Sundays, stop by and write a note to a St. Luke’s serving group or community partner. Use one of the postcards provided and put your notes in the St. Luke’s mailbox. We will see that they get delivered.
